Job Description
Deputy Manager - Nursing Home - RGN / RMN - £27000Some of the Deputy Managers duties will include:·Recruit, develop and train staff within an NVQ framework·Motivate staff to achieve agreed targets and deadlines·Manage staff performance informally and through the performance review process·Communicate with staff through regular briefings·Deputise for Home Manager as required·Devise effective and well run staff rotas·Prepare, agree and monitor residents\' care plans·Deliver care and support which would support the accomplishment of goals aimed at achieving independent living·Attend meetings with health and social services staff·Promote and monitor relationships with residents, relatives and visitors ·Communicate and establish standards of clinical practice·Promote clinical governance to meet best practices·Participate in the completion of quality and risk assessment·Maintain and monitor standards in line with legislative requirements·Ensure residents have equal access to services·Ensure services/facilities are accessible and responsive to residents needs·Provide quality information and encourage residents to own their services and to become involved·Respond effectively to residents complaints·Assist in setting annual budgets for the care home·Ensure income is maximisedLehman Ambrose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.\n\nLehman Ambrose Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency/Recruitment Buisiness in relation to this vacancy.
